Our Community

The Sycamores at Sugarland was designed and built to provide the comfort, beauty and privacy you’d find in your own home. We offer a variety of beautiful living spaces ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments. Assisted living suites have large walk-in closets and kitchenettes. Each apartment also features a private bath with a step-in shower and safety bars.

Additionally, we provide plenty of common space including a living room, library, spacious dining room, club room and discovery center, all giving our residents numerous options for visiting, relaxing, celebrating an event, engaging in a group activity or enjoying a good book.

The Sycamores at Sugar Land also provides a concierge who can tend to our residents’ special requests. Our community is surrounded by a walking path and gardens in a beautiful wooded setting with a large courtyard. Our atmosphere is elegant, yet warm and cozy and provides the perfect place for you or your loved one to call home.

Residents in our assisted living community enjoy common living areas such as our inviting dining room and warm kitchen. Friends and family can socialize with residents in our spacious family room. Our library boasts an array of books in regular print, large print and on tape, as well as current magazines and the daily newspaper. Many of our residents enjoy taking a leisurely stroll on our manicured grounds and walking paths, or relaxing in the outdoor courtyard. We also feature a full service beauty parlor and barber shop.

At Brookdale, we partner with each resident to create a personalized plan, tailored for their specific needs. Our process is unique to Brookdale and our trained staff is there to assist you with your personal needs, in the privacy of your suite/apartment. We provide assistance with bathing or showering, selection of clothing, dressing assistance, grooming, hygiene, mobility and transferring and dining assistance.

For those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, our memory care community provides specialized care from a staff that is continuously trained in handling the unique needs of seniors with memory-related issues. Residents with Alzheimer’s or related memory challenges reside in a supportive environment with familiar surroundings. By helping seniors achieve daily moments of achievement, residents find new meaning and purpose in their daily lives.

We have a well-trained staff that takes ownership of resident’s care and relates to hem like a family member. Our associates are committed to delivering the highest standards of care and service to our residents and their families. All of our caregivers undergo extensive, ongoing training.

Their skills and knowledge encompass the aging process, accident prevention, communication techniques, infection control and how to manage disruptive behaviors. They also attend intensive training for our memory care program, Join Their Journey. All employees understand the changes and challenges that occur with age and with memory loss.
