Our Community

Just like family, we provide the extra assistance seniors may need with daily activities, while always placing a focus on helping residents maintain privacy, dignity and independence.

Located in beautiful southwest Austin, our community is nestled in a quiet neighborhood of Beckett Meadows. Just down the street is the Will Hampton Branch of the Austin Library, and a lovely park for our seniors to enjoy.

We understand that every senior has a unique journey. We work to get to know every resident in both our assisted living and memory care communities to ensure they have the care they need to live a healthy, happy life.

Our campus includes the following accommodations and levels of care:

• Assisted Living accommodations for those who may need some extra help with daily living activities. We balance assistance with independence, providing just the right amount care needed.
• For those who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, our memory care community provides specialized care from a staff that is continuously trained in handling the unique needs of seniors with memory-related issues. Residents with Alzheimer’s or related memory challenges reside in a supportive environment with familiar surroundings. By helping seniors achieve daily moments of achievement, residents find new meaning and purpose in their daily lives.

Brookdale Beckett Meadows is a friendly, upbeat, jovial senior independent living community offering 59 senior apartments and 15 memory care apartments. Our spacious apartments feature a 24-hour emergency response system, private baths, and some feature kitchenettes with refrigerators.

Whether dining with friends in the dining room, relaxing with a good book in the library, or kicking back in the media room, our residents feel at home here at Brookdale Beckett Meadows. Our library boasts and extensive offering of books, magazines, and newspapers.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, our courtyard is a great place to enjoy a warm, sunny day, or keep fit or take a stroll on our manicured grounds and walking paths. We feature an open and spacious dining room and a private dining room that is available to residents for family visits and private parties. Stop by the beauty/barber shop that is available for a styling, manicure or facial.

Partnering with the Local Neighborhood Community

We believe that it is important to keep our residents plugged in with the “greater community” and it is best for the greater community to create space for seniors as well.

We partner with the South Austin Senior Center monthly for a sing-a-long, and their dance troupe, the “Rocking Chairettes” perform for our residents.

The residents of Brookdale Beckett Meadows are proud to be living in the capital city, and we participate in events at the state capital and open our senior community to the neighborhood as a polling place for local, state and federal elections. We are a resource to the South Austin community and offer monthly support groups for caregivers.
